The collection consists of three different designs of character heels, one high top and a bag and purse to finish off the look.
Let’s look at the designs a little closer:
The first of the characters heels comes in two colourways: Pink/multi and Black and we will have both in stock priced at £169. The black colourway is a metallic black/silver main body which is really soft and silky to touch, this is complimented by a black ruffle ribbon trim and wide black laces that do up the shoes. The pink colourway (Although I would class it as Rainbow) has all the colours of the rainbow in strips of colour on the main body of the shoe and the finish is like course glitter but in a matt finish, the ribbon ruffle, and laces on these is dusky pink. On both styles Hilda has purple hearts all over her body. Heel height is 11.5cm but they also have a hidden platform at 1.5cm so effectively they feel like a 10cm heel which I have to say is fairly comfortable to wear. Like all characters I sized up in these.
The next character heel is the one that went out as a teaser yesterday, they come again in two colourways: Red and Black. We have Red only and they’re priced at £169. The red colourway has a background red and pink gingham pattern in glitter and the heel and ankle strap are in a pillar box red suede like material that moulds around even my chunky ankles, this fastens with a nice gold buckle. One the front of the shoe is a butterfly shape which is covered in a pinky/silver glitter and edged with a pink suede like material. Hilda has hot pink hearts all over her on this shoe. Heel height is 11.5cm but they also have the hidden platform at 1.5cm. Again, surprisingly comfortable to wear and the ankle strap does make you feel more secure. Again, I sized up in these.
The last character heel is the showstopper of the collection in my opinion and by far my personal favourite. This design like the others comes in two colourways (starting to think of Noah’s ark right now): Blue/multi and Black/multi, we will be stocking both and they are £199. This design reminds me of Miele and On the Web for example as it has a piece of the shoe which is higher on the outer aspect that rests on your lower leg. I can’t tell you how stunning the colours are on both of these, so I hope our pictures do them justice. The Black are a combination of metallic and glitter flowers in hot pink, black and a teal colour while the Blue have silver, mid blue and two different colours of glitter on their flowers. The inside of the shoes has a metallic flower pattern which we’ve seen on previous shoes including baby beauty. Again, heel height is 11.5cm with a 1.5cm platform.
This one is for the high-top lovers out there. It comes in one colourway: Violet/Multi. We will have these in stock, and they are £169. The main body of these is different on the outer and inner aspect- the inner is covered in iridescent sequins that when reversed are silver- these really catch the light! On the outer aspect of the boots is a Surfing Hilda. Hilda along with her yellow surfing board and waves are stitched on appliques on top of the same sequins that are on the inside aspect. The tongue of the boot is super soft fur in pastel pink and yellow. The surprise in these is that there is a flashing light in the outside of the sole which is pastel pink- we believe the light is not rechargeable. Sizing on these is similar to other IC trainers, so for my 5.5 feet a 6 is comfortable.
The only bag to go with this launch is the same shape as the recent brunch bunch and Bubble bag. As you probably know this shape bag can therefore be used as a backpack. The front of the bag features our star of the show- Hilda. She has two 3d features, her hair bow (which also features a daisy) and her ear along with two cute teeth at the bottom of the flap. This bag is a reasonable size and can certainly accommodate purse, phone, keys as well as a few other bits and pieces. Retails at £99.

This whole collection has sparked absolute joy for me as in my mind it represents what IC do best- irregular choices……
Thanks for reading and I hope it’s been helpful,
